Chris Winans is the President of The Winans Group, Certified Public Accountants, PC. She has been a principal of the firm for the past 25 years. She served as the audit partner and now is the managing director. Chris graduated with a major in accounting and is licensed in Missouri and Kansas and is a member of the AICPA and KSCPA. She has been married to Rick for the past 30+ years and has two children and three grandbabies.
Kim Winans is the Secretary of The Winans Group, Certified Public Accountants, PC. She graduated from Truman State University in 2002 with a major in finance and accounting as well as a minor in economics. After spending time in St. Louis working on not-for-profit audits, she returned to Kansas City in 2004 to focus more on small businesses. Kim has two children, McKenna and Colin.
Ashley Wiseman graduated from UMKC in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is currently working on obtaining her CPA license. Outside of the office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and her two children, Dylan and Rylie. Ashley also enjoys reading, baking, camping, and gardening.
Mason Jasuta is a 2023 Kansas State graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is currently working on obtaining his EA and CPA licenses. Outside of the office, Mason enjoys spending his time relaxing outdoors, camping and fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Deven Doherty is a 2021 Ottawa University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is currently working on his Masters and EA. Outside of the office, Deven enjoys spending time with his fiance, Ashley, and son Zander. Deven also enjoys reading, board games, and working on puzzles.
Rachel Walkup attended Park University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. After gaining experience in the Finance Industry, she is now assisting The Winans Group in an administrative capacity. Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys writing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Shelly Harshaw attended Washburn University and then graduated from Bryan Travel College, Topeka, KS. After many years as a Corporate Travel Consultant, she is currently focusing on her administrative role here at The Winans Group. Outside of the office, Shelly enjoys spending time with family, traveling, volunteering, and her beloved Jayhawks, Chiefs, and Royals!
